Bengaluru boy Kriish bags ITF Junior title

Bengaluru: Fourteenyear- old Kriish Tyagi of Karnataka has won the Boys singles title in the ITF Junior under-18 tennis tournament in Indore. He beat Daksh Agrawal 6-1, 2-6, 6-4 in the final on Saturday.

Kriish Tyagi, who is a trainee of coach Suraj Bikkannavar at Sol Sports Academy in Bengaluru, also finished as runner-up in the doubles event along with his partner Prajwal Tiwari. The duo lost to Deep Munim and Denim Yadav 6-2, 5-7, 4-10 in the doubles final.

Kriish was ranked No 1 in the National under-14 category and is currently ranked No 4 in the under-16 singles.
