Shocking! Man electrocuted in Bengaluru

BENGALURU: A 30-yearold electrician was electrocuted when he was working in a water sump at ETA apartment KP Agrahara police station limits on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Mohan Kumar.

He was employed by Target Manpower solutions, which had the contract for all utilities work in ETA.

Kumar was taken to Apollo Hospital in Sheshadripuram where he was declared brought dead. Later the body was shifted to Victoria Hospital mortuary for the post mortem.

As it was dark inside the sump while the victim was fixing a problem, power connection was taken from a nearby switch board. When the victim touched the live wire, he was electrocuted.
