CM to panel: Submit report on SRTCs soon

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has directed a committee headed by retired IAS officer MR Srinivasmurthy to submit a report on the revival of the loss incurring state road transport corporations(SRTCs) at the earliest. The CM was addressing a meeting of the committee constituted to suggest measures for financial self-reliance and resource mobilisation for SRTCs. “Revenue generation from the assets of the transport corporations and efficient use of human resources were discussed,” the CM’s office said.
