Yathindra Siddaramaiah: BJP MLAs will come to us

Mysuru: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah’s son, MLA Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah said that they will not have to ‘buy’ any MLAs from the ruling BJP by investing crores as these legislators will themselves come to the Congress once the assembly elections approach.

Speaking to media persons in Mysuru on Wednesday, Dr Yathindra said they will not topple the BJP government like the saffron party did. If they have to do that, they would need crores to buy them, he said.

On senior leader C.M. Ibrahim quitting the party, he said , “After he came to our party, we gave him the assembly ticket, but he lost the elections. We made him MLC. Now since he does not have any position in the party, he has quit. Has the party done anything wrong?’
