Brace for power cuts

Bengaluru: A delegation of Muslim Muttahida Mahaz met Karnataka Director General and Inspector General of Police Praveen SBengaluru: There will be no power supply in the following areas from Friday between 10 am to 5 pm in Koramangala Division due to yearly maintenance work of 66/11kV transformers, 66kV Isolators, 66kV CT’s, PT’s and 11kV breaker maintenance works, BESCOM said. The areas to be hit: Kariyammana Agrahara, Devarbeesanahalli, RMZ Campus, RMZ Ecospace, Shobha IrisAprt, Global Pri-Techpark, Primal Project, New Horizon College, Bovihatti, Mantri-Aprt, Durga Aprt, Sakra Hospital, Adrasha Groups, Bellandur Ring Road, Central Mall, Krystal Appt. Kaikondanahalii, Sarjapur road, KPC-Layout, Amrutha College, SJR Veriety, Halanayakanahalli, RBR Layout, Mantri-Flora, Total Mall and surrounding areasod to discuss the recent attacks on the Muslim community across the state and the actions taken by the department. Led by Dr Belgami Muhammad Saad president of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, the delegation included state secretary Muhammad Iqbal and Tafheem Maroof of Jamiyyatul Ulema, among others. The delegation expressed concern over the Naragund incident in Gadag district and the mosque attack at Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station in Bengaluru. Responding positively, the DGP expressed his regret over the Naragund killing and the mosque attack and promised to take legal action against anti-social forces.
