Make drugs available at govt hospitals at cheap rates: CM

Bengaluru: Patients must get quality medicines at a minimum price in government hospitals. Distribution of medicines must be decentralised on priority, Chief Minister Basavarj Bommai said.

Addressing a meeting to review the functioning of the health and medical education departments here on Friday, he said government drug outlets should have their presence at the local level and must stock all medicines. The stock and account records should be digitised.
