Two held for drug peddling

Bengaluru: Kengeri police have nabbed two accused for their alleged involvement in supplying ganja and other narcotic substances to IT fi rm employees and students across the city. The police have identifi ed the accused as Yasir, 33, a resident of Rajajinagar and Bairesh, 33, from Rajagopalanagar. The police said they seized 1.2 kg ganja, Rs 700 in cash and eight two-wheelers from the accused. One of the investigation offi cers said they had received a tip-off from their sources regarding packets of ganja being sold to students and IT employees in Kengeri police station limits. On further interrogations, it was revealed that the accused were involved in supplying ganja and other drugs to their clients located in Jnanabharathi, HAL, Bagalagunte, Madanayakanahalli, Bidadi and Ramanagara police station limits.
