A 30-year-old divorced woman, also a mother of two children, has knocked the doors of the Indiranagar police after she was allegedly cheated by her colleague by having a physical relationship with her by making false marriage assurance.
The victim told police that her colleague had not come to the sub-registrar’s office when the wedding arrangements were made. The victim is said to have divorced her first husband over a family issue.
In order to look after her children, she started working in a private firm where the accused was also an employee.
After being in a relationship with her for some time, he later started avoiding her by making excuses.
In the month of December, 2020, when she had made arrangements for their wedding at a sub-registrar’s office, he is alleged to have skipped it. The Indiranagar police have registered a case and are further investigating.
