Derogatory remarks: Jains demand action

The Karnataka Jain Association on Thursday urged Home Minister and Bangalore City Police Commissioner to take appropriate action against Abdul Rashid Khan of Mysore for making derogatory remarks on Jainism. Speaking with media persons here on Thursday, B Prasannaiah, president, Karnataka Jain Association, Bangalore, has said that the Jain community strongly condemns Ayub Khan, president, New Congress Party, for making derogatory remarks against the Jain community. Meanwhile, Ayub Khan has apologized to the Jain community for making comments on the Jain community.
