Man held for duping army job aspirants in Bengaluru

A conman claiming to be an ex-serviceman has been arrested by the Viveknagar police for cheating gullible job aspirants by promising them jobs in the army.

The accused has been identified as Nethaichaand. He is alleged to have been collecting money from the job aspirants assuring them of jobs in the army.

The accused claims to have served in the army for a decade from 1993. By wearing the army uniform, he reportedly roams around the military campus in Viveknagar area. The accused used to share his contact details to the victims and tell them that he was in touch with senior army officers.
