Former CM B.S. Yediyurappa is set to become CM once again. But this time, it is in reel!

The veteran politician is acting as CM in a Kannada movie ‘Tanuja’, directed by Prashant Halli, an upcoming director. The first day’s shooting took place in Bengaluru and the other sequences will be shot in Shivamogga. Along with him, veteran journalist Vishveshwar Bhat is acting in the movie.

This is not the first time a former CM has acted in a movie. In the 1990s, veteran politician, Ramakrishna Hegde had acted in a Kannada movie “Marana Mrudanga” as CM. The shooting of his film took place in front of Vidhana Soudha.
