City Football: Aarushi’s hat-trick carries Modern Girls

Bengaluru: Modern Girls FC rode on Aarushi’s (22nd, 43rd, 63rd) hat-trick to defeat United FC Kodagu 5-2 at the Bengaluru Football Stadium here on Sunday. Priyadarshini struck in the 3th minute goal to start the proceedings for Modern girls. Prerana leveled it for Kodagu at the 10th minute. Both the teams were going hand in hand with 2-2, until Medha’s goal at the 40th minute for Modern girls.
Result: Modern Girls FC bt United FC Kodagu 5-2.

Roots edge past Kickstart
Bengaluru: Roots FS emerged winners after beating Kickstart FA 2-1. Strikes from Vishal (12th) and Shashwath (30th) ensured Roots victory. Though Kickstart FC’s Ebenezer scored one at the additional time, it was just satisfactory.
Result: Roots FS bt Kickstart FA 2-1.
