Police academy signs MoU with Mysuru varsity

Karnataka police academy of Mysuru on Monday entered into a memorandum of understanding with University of Mysuru for online and offline training programmes.

In his address, KPA Director Vipul Kumar said, “This Mou is for collaboration between KPA and UoM for designing, developing and delivering of offline or online academic and training programmes, including certificate or post graduate diploma or master degree courses for police officials who are busy round the clock, and to motivate them for continuing their education to keep themselves updated.” Interestingly, the MoU was signed on the last day of Vipul Kumar’s posting at KPA. He will be taking charge as IGP (internal security).
