Mee header sinks Spurs at Burnley

Tottenham followed up a stunning win at City on Saturday with a 1-0 loss at next-to-last Burnley four days later in a result that shakes up the relegation fight.

Ben Mee headed home a free kick in the 71st minute to earn Burnley a second straight win that moved the team up one place to 18th and to within two points of safety.

Burnley also has games in hand over most of the teams near the bottom.

Easy-peasy win for Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace made light work of Watford on Wednesday night, winning 4-1 at Vicarage Road. Roy Hodgson took on his former side looking to put together a second straight victory after Watford’s win at Aston Villa on the weekend, but Patrick Vieira’s side proved too strong.
