Leopard sneaks in as farmer family watches TV!

A leopard sneaked into the house of a farmer in Yadahalli, Nanjangud taluk in Mysuru district on Saturday.

According to information reaching here, the big cat entered the house in search of prey. The family members who were watching television, were shocked to see the leopard inside the house and ran out locking the door from outside.

The shocked animal wandered inside the house and bit the wire connected to the television set because of the sound it was making. The farmer informed forest department personnel who came to the village around 3 am and nabbed the animal after tranquilizing it. After medical examination, the leopard would be released into a nearby forest.
