When aplate of donne biryani is served to you, your instinctive reaction is to taste and see how different this is from the donne biryanis you have had earlier. RNR did exactly this when they served the donne biryani at their restaurant. And the feedback they got was that the taste was quite different, this being the naati style donne biryani.

“The recipe is from my family kitchen. My grandmother has always cooked thebest donne biryani and itis her authentic recipe,” says a p roud Ramya Ravi, co-founder of RNR restaurantwho first started the brand onlyfor delivery in 2020 by tyingup with food delivery partner, Swiggy. Motivated by the success of RNRdonnebiryani as a delivery brand,Ramya then started the flagship restaurantinthe heart of Jayanagara fewmonths ago.The RNR donne biryanihas special ingredients that are cooked i n j eera sambarice, lending it a different flavour. Ramya believes in serving the biryani in a donne that adds to the flavour as well as the experience, prompting diners to come back repeatedly. While t he biryani served is quite spicy, Ramya points out that it iscertainly less spicy when you tasteit with the raita. It is the spice that attractsthe diner as it prompts the savouring of the multiple flavours that arelocked into t he biryani.

The restaurant has a contemporary themed interior to contrast with the authentic naati style cuisine, and is always packed with biryani connoisseurs. The other delicacies on the menu are--the naatikoli rasam, mutton nalli fry, naati koli curry& drumstick chilly.
