Cyclothon held to promote fitness

Around 400 cyclists participated in the ‘Fit Bengaluru Cyclothon’ on Sunday in commemoration of the 107th birth anniversary of late spiritual leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community Dr Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin.
The cyclothon was flagged off by Sathya Sankaran, the bicycle ambassador of the BBMP. It was organized by Burhani guards Bangalore.
The cyclists who left the Burhani Mosque at Gottigere at 6 am traversed three different routes around Bannerghatta spreading the message of fitness and adopting a healthy lifestyle. Dawood Wankanerwala, Major, Burhani Guards said the annual event drew participants from Dawoodi Bohra community from across the city. Burhani Guards band stood in attendance playing the music.
