Victory is ours in 2023 polls, says confident Bommai

The ruling BJP has the aura of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a strong and dedicated cadre to bank on and with these two powerful weapons, nothing can prevent the party from retaining power in Karnataka after the 2023 Assembly polls, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Speaking at a function organised at the party office to felicitate those who were in charge of BJP affairs in the five states which went to polls recently, he said the need of the hour is to prepare a proper strategy which would help the BJP come back to power on its own without anybody’s support. There is no doubt that the BJP will get a clear majority in the 2023 assembly elections in the state. Party workers must take the achievements of the government to the people which is enough to win the confidence of the electorate. Unity and hard work must be their mantra in the next 12 months, the CM stressed.
“I am ready to work 24x7 in this regard. The government and the party are like two eyes. We must tour the length and breadth of the state to ensure victory where we have no base and retain the seats where we are strong. We should chalk out a well-knit strategy to win the Assembly elections,” Bommai added. He said he was aware of how party workers worked during difficult days. The BJP should have secured a majority in the previous Assembly polls in 2018 but it didn’t happen. “I am confident that the lotus will bloom on the third floor of Vidhana Soudha in 2023. I will be in constant touch with workers and MLAs daily”, he added.
On the occasion, Union Ministers, Prahlad Joshi, Shobha Karandlaje and MLA C.T. Ravi were felicitated.
