Teen jumps to death

BENGALURU: A student of first year PUC allegedly committed suicide by jumping from a residential apartment near Konanakunte Cross in Bengaluru. According to the jurisdictional police, the unfortunate incident took place on Sunday afternoon around 3:30pm when the youth fell from the 23rd floor of the Prestige Falcon City Apartment near Konanakunte cross. Rushing to the spot soon after the incident, officials from Konanakunte police station inspected the spot while inquiring about the exact cause of the alleged suicide. The body was later shifted to Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in the city. The 17 year old youth was a student of Jain College, police said. However, they did not reveal the identity of the deceased.
