Cycle rally to mark World Sparrow Day

“Parisara snehi” team and KMPK trust hosted a bi-cycle rally to create awareness among Mysureans on providing water to birds and small animals during summer, to mark World Sparrow Day on Sunday morning.

Over 200 people including 30 NCC cadets led by KRM foundation head N.M. Naveen Kumar and others participated in bi-cycle rally from Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple to Kukkarhalli lake.

Also “People for Animals” org anisation and JDJC distributed bamboo water bowls to NGOs, Philanthropy groups and individuals working for the birds and environment on the occasion of “world sparrow day” at Karanji lake parking area on Sunday. They distributed these bowls with the mission - “Let no birds die of thirst and dehydration” during summer.
