Mysuru: Two crocs in 24 hours! For those who get the shivers when they see the scaly animal, this is no reassuring piece of news.

Crocodiles like snakes are coming out in the open after the unseasonal rains across Karnataka . One of them was a 7.5 feet long croc that was eating sheep and goats near Palahalli village in Srirangapatna taluk and was finally caught on Monday. The croc was giving sleepless nights to villagers of Palahalli.

In fact, there are a number of crocodiles at Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary due to which boating would be suspended during heavy discharge of water from the upstream Krishna Raja Sagar (KRS) Dam.

Another crocodile was spotted at the Sewage Farm in Vidyaranyapuram, Mysuru which belongs to the horticulture department. Farm staff informed the authorities at Mysuru Zoo who took it away.
