Harassment case filed against BBMP official

A woman has filed a harassment case against a Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) official in Basavanagudi Women’s Police Station.

According to sources, the complainant works at another government organisation.

In her complaint, the victim has claimed that the BBMP official from the administration department paid her a visit in the office on March 18 around 11 am and demanded that she resign from her post.

The victim asked for an official order to the effect, to which the official got “enraged”. “He threatened me with dire consequences,” she stated in her complaint.

The victim said the accused recently visited her house too and threatened her again.
