Power supply to be affected

Due to several on-going maintenance works by Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM), including shifting of overhead cables to underground, a number of areas across the city may face power interruptions on Saturday.

According to Bescom, areas including Marathahalli, Sanjay Nagar, Madiwala, Dollars colony, Gurappanapalya, Bismillah Nagar, Peenya village and surrounding places in the South zone may face power disruptions between 10 am to 6:30 pm.

In the east zone, Bayasabi Layout, Kuvempu Nagar, Ashra Colony, KG Pura Main Road, Pai Layout and surrounding areas may observe power interruptions between 10 am to 7pm. West Zone areas such as Kempegowda Nagar, Attiguppe, Vidya Layout, Subbanna garden, BHEL Township and Manjunatha Nagar may be hit due to power disruptions between 9 am to 8 pm. In North division, Dasenahalli, BGS College, Kikabettahalli, Narasipura Bus stop, Nelamangala farm and surrounding areas may face power disruptions between 10 am to 7 pm.
