Woman dies, case against in-laws

Almost a year after marriage, a woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her husband’s house located near Mudigere in Chikkamagaluru district.

The deceased was identified as Ganvi, 27, and her parents have filed a case against her husband Nandith and his parents.

Ganvi’s parents have alleged that Nandith and his parents had demanded dowry and used to torture their daughter. The complainants allege that their daughter was poisoned to death.
