Man held for killing wife

Vidhana Soudha police have arrested a man who had been on the run after allegedly killing his wife in Bengaluru. The accused has been identified as Phul Chand.

According to the police, Phul Chand and his wife Sachi Urav, hail from Jharkhand, and have been living near Cunningham Road for the past three years. The accused was working as a carpenter and his wife used to cook meals for the labourers.

Sources claimed that on March 26 the couple had a heated argument and Phul Chand killed his wife. On Sunday, the police were informed about the accused being sighted at Bengaluru International Airport trying to leave the city. Police soon reached the airport and arrested the accused.
