Metro services to be affected

Bengaluru: Namma metro services on Purple Line (from Kengeri to Byappanahalli) will be curtailed from Saturday 9.30 pm to Sunday 7 am, to carry out civil works between Indiranagar and Swami Vivekananda stops.

As a result, trains will run only between Kengeri and MG Road on the Purple Line. According to a BMRCL statement, “The last train from Kengeri to Byappanahalli will leave Kengeri at 8.30 pm, and the last train from Byappanahalli to Kengeri will start from Baiyappanahalli at 8.30 pm.” “The trains will function normally after 7 am on Sunday on the entire Purple Line. On the Green Line, services will not be affected and run as per schedule,” the statement added.
