PSI selection scam gets murkier: Audio clip tells all

Chikkaballapur: An audio conversation between two persons over the appointment of 545 police sub-inspectors surfaced on Saturday. Two persons in the audio tape can be heard discussing alleged irregularities in the selection of police officers.

The audio clip is being shared on social media by affected candidates. It contains what can be termed as explosive details regarding the selection process. However, it is not known who the two speakers are. One of them can be heard saying that he was ready to shell out any amount to become a police sub-inspector. In the course of the conversation, one person who wants to get his relative selected for the PSI post, says that he too was ready to spend any amount for the selection.

Another person, who seems like a tout, says not to worry since bigwigs were involved in the PSI selection scam. When the post aspirant person expresses his anguish over the moving of court by candidates from the Hyderabad-Karnatak region, the tout assures nothing will happen as it happens every year. “No 2004 KAS batch repetition will happen.”

Then the aspirant says that his relative has lots of money and is ready to spend. Then the tout says to apply next time since the last date for filing application is over. He will then tell the procedure to fill up the application. He suggests that another mobile be given in the application then, and a different examination centre be selected. With that, the conversation ends.
