Bengaluru: The state government does not consider the recent Hubballi violence an ordinary incident and is viewing the conspiracy and organised attack on the Old Hubballi police station with all seriousness, said CM Bommai adding that people and organisations behind the mob-incited violence would be identified and dealt with an iron hand.
Speaking to reporters at Hubballi Airport on Sunday, the CM said a probe is on to unravel the plot and identify the elements behind the incident. The police have already obtained the statements of those arrested, he said.
Replying to a question on reports that the email threats received by some schools in Bengaluru had originated in Pakistan, Bommai said, “there are instances in the past of people sitting here and using the IP addresses located in Dubai and Saudi Arabia. A thorough investigation has been ordered into the case.
The source of the emails and the culprits involved will be identified and help sought from the concerned countries through the External Affairs ministry to arrest them. We will get to the bottom of the case and find the culprits.”
Reacting to the disclosures in a video on the irregularities in PSI recruitment, which has gone viral,
Bommai said, audios and videos are new ways through which frauds are being exposed. The CID has been asked to conduct a thorough investigation and the guilty, however influential and smart they may be, will be arrested and punished, he said.
On the delay in arresting Divya Hanagari, who is associated with the BJP, in the PSI recruitment case, the Chief Minister said her institution and house have been raided and she would be arrested soon.
