Over a dozen MLAs in touch with BJP: Kateel

Bengaluru: State BJP President Nalinkumar Kateel has claimed that over a dozen MLAs from other parties are in touch with the BJP and they would be inducted into the party after a discussion with the high command.

Talking to reporters late on Sunday on the sidelines of a meeting here, Kateel said lawmakers from old Mysuru region are waiting to join the BJP. The party has winnable candi - dates in most constituen - cies and in other places, candidates from other parties who are keen on joining the BJP would be permitted to contest. Several surveys would be conducted on poll preparations and the strengths of candidates in all constituencies. People’s opinion would also be considered, he added.
