RFO! Dream fulfilled

Mysuru: A Range Forest officer for a day! It was a dream fulfilled for a 14-year old girl who has been suffering from bone cancer.

The girl who hails from a poor family of Bevkal village in Mandya, wants to work in the government department but is not sure if the illness will allow her. An NGO brought it to the notice of the forest department. Forest department officials then swung into action and and arranged a khaki uniform for her and also handed over the letter of appointment.

On Friday, the girl reached Nagarhole Reserve and performed the duty of RFO for a day.
