Woman commits suicide

Bengaluru: A woman committed suicide by hanging on Monday night in Rajagopal Nagar Police Station limits. The deceased has been identified as Swathi (25).

The woman’s family members alleged that she killed herself after facing continuous harassment from her husband Swamy, who has been arrested.

According to Rajagopal Nagar police, the accused has been booked under sections 306 (abetment of suicide) and 498A (domestic violence) of the Indian Penal Code.
