Bhovi Development Corporation director booked for forgery

Bengaluru: An FIR has been filed against Ravi Kumar, a director of the Karnataka Bhovi Development Corporation, after allegations of an attempted forgery surfaced on Wednesday.

According to the sources, the plot to swindle Rs 2.35 crore by the accused came to light during a review meeting on Wednesday.

The officials also found forged signatures of the Managing Director of the Bhovi Development Corporation, Leelavathi, and the General Manager, Nagarajappa, on at least 60 applications seeking business loan.

As soon as the irregularities unfolded, the two KAS officersregistered a case against Ravi Kumar with Mahalakshmi Layout police station. However, the accused went missing and is on the run.
