TV actress injured in accident

Bengaluru: Famous Kannada Television serial actress and dubbing artist Sunetra Pandit was hospitalized after she suffered minor injuries in an accident in the city on Sunday. The incident took place near Basavanagudi early Sunday when the actress was returning home on her scooter after a shoot. According to the reports, she allegedly lost balance after her scooter hit a speed breaker and fell down. The actress was rushed to a private hospital following the incident. Pandit’s daughter Shreya told News Trail that her mother is currently recuperating in the hospital. “As she fell on her side, she sustained minor injuries on hand, leg and forehead. She was wearing a helmet,” she said.

Sunetra Pandit became a household name after the actress first appeared in a TV serial Silli Lalli. Currently she is seen in another serial Bettada Hoovu. She is also considered as one of the most sought-after dubbing artistes in Kannada TV industry.

Jurisdictional police have registered a case.
