Man dies as bike skids near Manyata Tech Park

Bengaluru: A 34-year-old man died after his two-wheeler slipped near Chikkajala traffic police station in the city on Friday evening.
Police identified the deceased as Sanmith who was working as a manager at a private organisation.
The incident took place around 7:40 pm when Sanmith was returning from his work, police said.
“While heading towards Yelahanka, he lost his balance near the 2nd cross, Manyata Tech Park junction and fell from his bike,” police said.
As a result, he sustained a severe head injury and collapsed on the road. The locals, who witnessed the accident, rushed him to the Manipal Hospital.
However, he died without responding to the preliminary treatment.
The police added that over-speeding might have caused him to lose his balance on the scooter.
A case regarding the incident has been registered by the Chikkajala traffic police and further investigation is on.
