5-day monthly trial in Gauri Lankesh murder from July 4

The first session of the five-day, monthly trial in the Gauri Lankesh murder case will be held from July 4 to 8.
The dates were confirmed by the special court for the Karnataka Control of Organised Crime Act in Bengaluru. Earlier, it decided to conduct the trial on a day-to-day basis for a week every month after the trial began on May 27 (Friday).
Journalist Gauri Lankesh was shot dead on September 5, 2017, by two bike-borne miscreants outside her residence in RR Nagar. The SIT has arrested 17 of the 18 accused.
