AeroCON 2022: Premier aerospace conference begins

Bengaluru: The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE India) launched the second edition of the International Aerospace Conference ‘AEROCON 2022’ in the city on Thursday. 

The two-day conference is being held at HAL Management Academy. This year’s AEROCON will focus on the research trends, challenges, and opportunities in autonomous airborne systems. 

The conference this year covers topics of great relevance and interest to the industry, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, electric mobility, robotics, and blended/hybrid wing body designs.
The biennial event provides a global networking opportunity for aerospace professionals from the industry, academia, and the national defence laboratories.

AEROCON 2022 was inaugurated by the President of SAE India Rashmi Urdhwarseshe, Executive Advisor (Global Affairs) of SAE International Dr Murli Iyer, Former Vice President of Collins Aerospace Dr Ravishankar Mysore, Chairman of General Manager and Dean of HAL Management Academy Dr Shreekant Sharma, Director General of Aeronautical Development Agency Dr Girish S. Dedodhare and the Director of Boeing Research and Technology Dr Balaguruna Chidambaram.
