Airport launches luxury lounges

The Kempegowda International Airport Limited (KIAL) on Wednesday unveiled its new international and domestic lounges, named 080 Lounge.

Hari Marar,  MD & CEO of Bangalore International Airport Limited,  said the lounges would offer world-class amenities to traveller. “We are proud to be bringing this exciting brand with unique design sensibilities, creating a truly innovative and unique space tailored to the needs of passengers,” he said. 
Operated by Travel Food Services (TFS), the lounges are open for passengers who are affiliated with loyalty programs, partner airlines, and for all patrons who wish to access the services.
The lounges will also be home to the 080 transit hotel, which offers a flexible hourly rate payment offering. 

The lounges will offer a top-notch culinary experience, managed by professionals led by celebrity chef Abhijit Saha.  

“Both the domestic and international departure lounges will adhere to sustainability principles as part of our long-standing commitment to a more sustainable future,” the statement added.
