Emotive CM

Politicians are usually called as thick skinned as they fail to don't take anything seriously. But at the same time there are netas who breakdown often. The best example has been former CM and JDSLP leader H D.Kumaraswamy who was called as 'Crying CM' by then opposition parties Next in the line is the incumbent CM Basavaraja Bommai who becomes very emotional on certain issues. But his eyes became wet after remembering his pet dog 'Sunny' which died a few years.

After watching a new Kannada movie, Charlie 777 starring Rakshit Shetty at a multiplex in Bengaluru, Bommai, in teary eyes, remembered his late dog and announced a scheme of adopting the stray dogs which are usually illtreated by people. But there are other politicians who bring tears in the eyes of public. It is better to have the tribe of crying netas than the other set.

Dushman kaha hai...

While Congress leaders have hit the streets in some states against the grilling of their beloved Gandhi family members over an old case, a BJP leader has dropped a bomb saying that former CM B.S.Yediyurappa and his son, B.Y.Vijayendra would also go to jail along with Sonia and Rahul Gandhi. The leader, Vijayapura City MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal has been a vocal critic of Yediyurappa and his son's from the last few years. He would not spare any chance to slam the BJP lingayat leader who installed the saffron party government in south India.

None know the reason for 'Dushmani' between Yatnal and Yediyurappa but it is continued even after the latter stepped down from the CM post. Yatnal made the life of Yediyurappa miserable while he was the CM by acting as an opposition leader within the ruling party. But the party has not dared to stop Yatnal from his diatribe on the lingayat leader. It was enjoyed by anti-BSY group and has been extending tacit support to the Vijayapura MLA. Who will stop Yatnal from attacking BSY ? It is a million dollar question.

Liberal use of words...

The opposition and the ruling party of Karnataka are liberally using all kinds of unprintble words to settle the scores. The recent textbooks revison provided the opportunity for the Congress party to mount it's attack on the ruling BJP government. The chairman of revision committee was abused singularly by none other than Leader of the Opposition in State Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah.

Following leader, all other leaders used liberally all kinds of unparliamentary words. Once, former CM Ramakrishna Hegde had used a word on the then opposition party leader during a debate. The next day, Hegde tendered apology in the open house for his use of word. Now it is free for everyone to use whatever words on their opponents.
