Reshuffle in city police dept

In yet another major shuffle in the Karnataka police department, the state government has ordered the transfer of 16 IPS officers.

Transfer of superintendent of police and assistant superintendent of police who have served for more than their set period of service is already taking place across several districts of Karnataka.

HERE ARE A FEW POSTINGS

Joshi Srinath Mahadev, Deputy Police Commissioner, South East Division, Bengaluru, has been posted as Superintendent of Police in Karnataka Lokayukta, till further orders.

K.M. Shantaraju, Deputy Inspector General of Police, East Division of Traffic, Bengaluru City has been transferred with immediate effect and until further orders, to the Superintendent of Police, Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM).

C.K. Baba, who was awaiting his posting, has been appointed as Southeast Division DCP, Bengaluru, in place of Joshi Srinath Mahadev.

Kala Krishnaswamy, Superintendent of Police, ACB, Central Division, Bengaluru, has been transferred with immediate effect and until further orders, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic East Division, Bengaluru.

Harish Pandey, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Division, Bengaluru, has now been appointed as Superintendent of Police, ACB, Bengaluru, till further orders.

Lakshmana Nimbaragi, Superintendent of Police, Belagavi, has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police, West Division, Bengaluru.

R. Srinivas Gowda, Superintendent of Police, Hassan has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Division, Bengaluru in the existing vacancy.

G.K. Mithun Kumar, Superintendent of Police, Chikkaballapur has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, Bengaluru.

P. Krishnakant, Superintendent of Police, Dharwad, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, South, Bengaluru.

Shobha Rani VJ, Superintendent of Police, Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM), has been transferred to the post of Superintendent of Police, ACB, Bengaluru, till further orders.
