The rooms are designed with an eco-friendly mind-set, using environmental friendly materials for construction. To achieve this the resort has imported bricks from Italy that were used in the 16th century. The wood and timber are from a retired wooden ship that has sailed many voyages on rough untamed waters. To maintain an ambient room temperature natural clay roof tiles have been used. Not only does this reduce energy consumption but also lends a rustic charm to the place.

The facilities at the resort include authentic ayurvedic massages, free laundry, and a barbeque area. For those who like to get up late – breakfast will be served at the hour you wake up.

Activities like live fishing is one of their unique offerings. The resort has a one and a half acre pond for fishing that has 52,000 fishes in them. If the guests make a catch the resort will fry it for them. The resort can also organise treks and day trips for interested guests.
