2 die in separate accidents

Two people died in separate accidents that took place in the city. The first accident took place late at night around 12:50 am near Banaswadi traffic police station limits where a newly married woman died while her husband survived with severe injuries.
The police identified the deceased as Shwetha, 28. The police told Newstrail that the couple was returning home on their scooter after watching a movie.
They crashed into a parked truck near Hennur underpass. While they were being shifted to a private hospital, Shwetha succumbed to injuries.
The jurisdictional traffic police reached the spot and inspected it.
Search is on to nab the absconding truck driver, police said.
A case has been taken up and further investigation will follow. In the second incident, a biker was killed after he crashed into an incoming car on the Devanahalli Main Road. The incident took place when Sharma, 25, was riding pillion along with his friend and heading towards Chikkaballapur from the city around 4 am.
The traffic police said that the bike was speeding and the rider lost balance after he hit a speed-breaker and crashed into an incoming car. Devanahalli traffic police have registered a case
