Pothole pooja does the trick!

Bengaluru: Just two days after Cox Town residents performed a symbolic pooja on Charles Campbell Road after failing to draw the attention of BBMP to fix the many potholes and craters dotting the road, MM Street and Buddha Vihar Road, Palike officials swung into action and engaged a contractor to fill the gaping holes.
“We distributed water bottles among workers doing the job. I have to thank BBMP and our MLA S Raghu for fixing the problem,’’ said N.S. Ravi, president, Bharathinagar Residents’ Forum. News Trail had reported on the problems residents were facing because of the potholes.
