Suicide prevention street play at BU campus

Bengaluru: Students from Bangalore University’s Departments of Psychology and Counselling Psychology staged a street play at multiple locations on the Jnanabharati Campus to raise awareness regarding suicide prevention. The play was staged as part of World Suicide Prevention Day, which is observed on September 10.

The HoD of Psychology, Prof Srinivas was present along with the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof S M Jayakara.

“The role of psychologists in bringing relief to those reeling under psychological issues is crucial, especially in recent times,” the VC said.
