Bengaluru: A folk-fusion band Yugm will be performing at Bangalore International Centre on October 23. The band is for med by Abhishek and Mayank.
Their performance at BIC is a part of their “Parchi India Tour”. “This song is very close to our hearts it talks about old school love. Using our favourite tool lyric writing ‘satire’ we created a window to see how we used to express love and how can a Parchi (a slip or a letter) generate an emotion.
This song celebrates the innocence and efforts we put in love,” said Abhishek. Both Mayank and Abhishek were performing separately at early stages of their lives and their paths crossed in Jaipur and they laid the foundation of Yugm in 2016.
Their songs cover a wide range of topics including social issues like water scarcity, menstruation taboo, satire and much more. The music of the band is inspired by bands like Indian Ocean, Kabir Cafe and Swarathma
