Siddu, DK turn Good Samaritans, shift cop to hospital

Mysuru: Opposition leader in the Assembly Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President D.K. Shivakumar on Friday turned Good Samaritans and helped shift an injured cop of their escort vehicle to hospital. The incident happened near Lingadahalli in Chikkamagaluru.

According to information reaching here, the escort vehicle fell into a deep trench after the vehicle driver lost control with the cop who was in the vehicle suffering severe head injuries while others received bruises. Siddaramaiah a n d Shivakumar immediately alighted from their vehicle and arranged another jeep for the immediate shifting of the injured cops to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Congress workers who were accompanying their leaders, lent a helping hand to shift the injured cops to hospital.
