Another road caves in

Bengaluru: With the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike already facing the heat due to potholerelated accidents, another shocking incident surfaced in the form of a road cave-in when a part of the road connecting Srirampura to Okalipuram collapsed.

Fortunately no one was reportedly hurt due in the incident. "The road caved in exposing the shoddy work done by the civic agencies," a motorist on Okalipuram Road said.

The damage was suspected to be caused due to the rupturing of a water pipeline passing below the road. Area residents alerted the BBMP officials who reached the spot to close the pit.
