Intoxicated techie falls to death from 25th floor flat

‘Nothing can be ascertained yet,’ say cops

Bengaluru: A techie died after falling from the 25th floor of an apartment building in Bannerghatta Road in the city on Thursday. The Konanakunte police who inspected the spot identified the deceased as Prashanth Singh, 28, an employee of an IT firm in the city.

Sources from the police said that the deceased was a resident of the Prestige Apartment at Bannerghatta Road and that the incident took place around 1 am on Thursday. The police also said that it was found that the deceased had consumed alcohol before his death.

The cops have speculated that either Singh might have lost his balance or might have committed suicide. “Nothing can be ascertained yet,” the police said, adding that the investigation is on.
