After a close shave, couple fill up pothole with soil

Bengaluru: A city resident had a near death experience on Thursday morning while trying to navigate through a pothole on the 18th cross of Malleswaram. While trying to avoid a pothole near the bus stop, the man narrowly escaped an accident that would have led to grievous injuries.

Later, the man and his wife Nagamani came back to the spot and filled the pothole with soil, in order to make sure no other motorists were at risk of an accident. The act has been caught on video and is making rounds on social media websites, where the couple can be seen pouring a sack full of soil into the pothole and levelling it, amidst ongoing traffic.

Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) across the city are angered and have said, “This is the state of Namma Bengaluru roads, at least wake up now.”
