Bengaluru: State Cong ress on Friday released a mock Rs 500 crore note bearing the name of former minister KS Eshwarappa, claiming he had admitted to buying MLAs from the grand old party with the same amount.
“When you pay Rs 2,500 crore for the CM’s post, Rs 500 crore isn’t that big an amount, is it @BJPKarnataka? @ikseshwarappa, did you keep a note counting machine to count Rs 500 crore from Operation Kamal, or was it to count 40 per cent corruption money?
Did Santosh Patil take his life without withdrawing Rs 500 crore investment?” the official Karnataka Congress handle tweeted.
