Man injured in pothole-related mishap slips into coma

Bengaluru: A man who was shifted to hospital after he got injured in a potholerelated accident in the city earlier this week, slipped into coma. The incident had taken place on the Gangamma Road near Jalahalli when a resident of Vidyaranyapura, Sandeep, 37, was driving his two-wheeler around 9:30 pm on November 1.

He lost his balance while negotiating a pothole on the road and suffered severe head injuries, after which he was rushed to a hospital. On Saturday, sources from the hospital informed that the victim slipped into coma with his health condition turning critical.

Residents of the city have been questioning the efficiency of the civic officials as deaths and injuries are being reported every day due to dilapidated roads in the city
